This course is offered for licensed cosmetologist, facial skin care specialist/esthetician and full specialist.

Chemical Peels with the use of chemical agents destroy the top layers of the skin, the skin is left rejuvenated and feeling smooth. Usually using a variety of acids, you can treat different skin conditions such as aging, acne, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and more.

A chemical peel damages the skin in a controlled manner, producing a superficial wound. As the damage is repaired by the natural healing process, the skin’s appearance is improved. The depth at which the damage occurs is determined by the nature of the chemicals applied to the skin.

Theory will include history, procedures, safety measures, and consultations to determine to the correct acids to use. We also discuss contraindications, aging, and typing, these will assist you to choose who will be ideal candidates for this service.

Practical segment will give you hands-on training with model to perform a superficial peel successfully.
